Pillow packing machines for solid and tray-supported products
A horizontal flow wrapper that keeps film tension constant from the first pack of a roll to the last — the difference between a neat seal and a wrinkle.
Film control decides what the pack looks like on the shelf
Flow wrapping is a simple idea with an unforgiving detail: the film must arrive at the sealing jaws at exactly the right tension, every cycle. A servo film-feed system with automatic tension compensation holds that constant as the roll unwinds, which is why the seal on the last thousand packs matches the first.
Two sealing architectures are available. Rotary jaws suit high-speed, regular products where the pack length stays fixed. Box-motion jaws move with the product during sealing, which handles fragile or irregular items at lower speeds with less mechanical stress on the product.
For products that need a longer shelf life, a gas flush kit displaces oxygen inside the pack before sealing. The infeed conveyor is configured with lugs or a timing belt to guarantee consistent product spacing, since spacing errors show up as film waste.
Typical configuration shown. Final specification is confirmed against your product, pack format and output target before the order is locked.
Key features
- Independent jaw temperature control
Upper and lower jaws regulated separately for symmetric seals on coated and uncoated films.
- Servo film feed with auto-tension
Compensates for roll diameter change; reduces film waste at start-up.
- Rotary or box-motion jaws
Choose cycle architecture by product fragility and speed target.
- Gas flush kit (optional)
Displaces oxygen before sealing for extended shelf life on bakery and snack items.
- Quick-change forming shoulder
Film width change without a full strip-down, for multi-format production.
